Besides lectures and labwork, there are more things to do at the FAU. There are several offerings, for examples sports and the FabLab.
University sports
From football to Yoga. Almost every sport can be played and/or learned at the FAU. Here‘s a list of all offerings. Courses can be attended in terms and in term breaks. You can enrol some days before every period via StudOn. Be quick with your registration, most courses are pretty packed, most will just be available for some minutes. However, to ask course leaders of a full course if you can join nevertheless is always an option.
Fablab
The Fablab is a opne repair and assembling shop from students for students. Here you’ll find (while opening hours) help and gadgets for your projects, or just a kict for your broken tyre. You find the Fablab in a small room in the Faculty of Technology.
